Rog set up was a 4oz lead on a Zip slider running up and down main line. Then a bead to protect the knot. Then a swivel to stop the lead. Then a ten foot fluorocarbon leader with the lure at the end. Lure was a sidewinder skerries pro in super pearl.

What’s your go-to leader strength or diameter, do you think that going lighter can make a difference?

I am quite prone to changing my fluorocarbon leaders I might add, probably more than I really need to, but I have always liked using a leader for my lure fishing and I refuse to let such a short but important length of time be any kind of a weak link.
