Match the weight.
Consider your rod rating, wind, current and depth. V1 is 18g; V2 offers 16g or 26g; Titan is 40g; Bomb Squad offers 20g or 45g.
Consider the hook.
If weed is part of the problem, compare the V2 weedless configuration. No lure is snag-proof. Choose a presentation you can control.
