Thanks for those thoughts mate. Appreciated. So tell us more. What colours for bass work best and in what conditions. My experience is that natural colours like khaki work best alongside the white. But would welcome your own thoughts which will honk tomorrow database on Basslurefish.com for other anglers to benefit from. We’re all learning here.

Pink vs White Lures for Sea Bass: Does Colour Matter?

The best colour is the one that tiggers fish on the day. I've done a lot of trolling for pike with multiple rods and on some days, it'll be one particular colour that gets the most takes, then you just switch other rods to that same lure/colour and you're hauling. When fish aren't active, it makes no difference what colour you use, when they are - it's often does - which is dependant on water clarity, time of day, overcast or sun, depth, etc. I think a lot of guys who lure f…

I've been bass fishing with lures for a while now and it didn't take me long to start doing well, a lot better than most I would say. Having an understanding of colour and when it can make a difference is something that will catch you more bass and no, pink and white are not the best colours - people only think they are as that's all they seem to use...

They SMASHED These 2 Lures! | Bass Lures For October

Interesting. Bass fishermen seems to always go for a white lure when the water is cloudy. Where I fish for trout, the water is always murky and the go to advice is to use black flies/lures as the trout can pick out the shadowy movement in the gloom. They work, and white doesn’t, generally in my experience.

Essential Bass Lures for This Summer- Experienced Anglers Honest Choice

@luciussander007 So point out the differences in action ? there is a limit on action and nearly all jointed an single body lures have i dentical actions ,they cannot differ as the structure is the same ,you can get variations like back lip ,side lips and lipless and scoop lips they will fish in a different manner but the basic jointed an one piece have not changed in 50 years ,regardless of price . i agree about colour but i was talking about fishing in the sea where i find i…

White lures are very popular ,not something i am keen on but people certainly catch fish on them.

Interesting selection and interesting that it differs from my own .Apart from surface lures i rarely use a wobbler nowadays"and that certainly would not be an overpriced patch although i have a few.,but with you on the spook " for me soft plastics and inline an a few heavy metals get you fishing through out the whole water column ,the action on nearly every wobbler is more or less the same ,there are a few exceptions but not many ,cast ablity to lenth is basically the only th…

I was very interested in your observations on color ,except at night i have never noticed a difference and i wonder if its fishing different ground . anyway as i said interesting to me that our lure choice is some way apart but i suppose thats what makes it interesting . thanks for the vids i enjoy them.

The Real Reason You’re Not Catching Fish!

What looks good to us, looks nothing lime it to bass. There are lures that help like those with flashing plates like in the Espetit White and flash though.

No you dont have to buy top of the range are all however, im a firm believer in "buy cheap, buy twice"

I'm trying to dial in my lure selection to take with me one thing i have learned is what i think looks good doesn't matter 😂😂

Also you dont have to buy Top of the range Expensive lures all the time! some of my most successful lures are cheap and nasty
