very good uploads, pink is very good in muddy water in rivers,also black, red with bright orange in muddy water uk,pink is also great colour in hard lures in on the Mediterranean sea in peak sun, tightlines...

Appreciate the feedback. We try to handle fish as carefully as possible and you’re right that supporting the body is best practice, especially with larger bass. Always learning and happy to be called out when we can do better. 👍

Interesting that your experience is almost the opposite of what we found in this test. Pink and yellow actually ended up being two of the weaker performers for us on the day, while some of the more natural colours consistently outfished them.

That’s exactly why we love doing these tests though — different waters, tides and conditions can completely change the outcome. Out of interest, what type of venues are you mainly fishing when pink is producing so well for you? 🎣

5” 22g. The smallest size available. Next we are doing a test of whether lure size matters and whats the difference in catch rates between small and large lures of same pattern.

What size version were these please ?

Really shouldn't hold bass in a one handed lip grip then try to show it horizontally. The likelihood of severe damage is very high, increasing with the size of the fish. Anglers should always support the body as well.

Pink is a killer for me in all water clarity and depths, although in murky water with an added rattle, it can't be beaten in my opinion. Yellow is almost just as good in the same conditions, although it seems to pick out the smaller fish for some reason.

My second favourite for clear waters and slight colouration is the pure white blood chin in the Eels i do.

This is a top performer in clear and slightly stained waters.
