Yep. I get that. I’m the skipper on my boat so I approach it much the same as you do for the shore marks.

@BassLureFish not cheating, just a completely different activity to angling. It's why i could never really get into boat fishing. Nothing beats finding a mark, working out how, when, where to cast and then building on it over a period of time,tides and weather conditions. Don't get me wrong i have caught plenty fish from boats but unless i'm in water shallow enough that casting makes a difference to the catch rate i always put all the fish i catch down to the skipper and his knowldge.

Yes mate. It’s an Iron 827’powered by 350 Suzuki Duo Prop. I made a few mods to it for fishing Including the tank and bait station. 50 knots!

U kinda train the AI over time to better understand u and give u better solutions and understanding of what u are actually trying to get to know, google doesnt rlly do that

​@BassLureFish My bass fishing has changed this year. I always fished two piers on the Dutch coast around Ijmuiden, but a broken bike pushed me onto my local beach at Zandvoort. I've moved from my regular jigheads (and only catching lesser weever from the beach) to bombardas and flies to my current light Carolina rig with a soft plastic and a tandem surface fly, with a bass every few casts. ChatGPT (free version) designed every rig.

That reaction is actually part of what makes this interesting. Is talking to AI really fundamentally different from asking Google, using sat-nav or taking advice from an algorithm — or does the conversational bit just make it feel more unsettling? Interested to know what everyone thinks.
