Which would we start with?
For the shore comparison Toby described, start with the 18g V1. For boat work that calls for the heavier option, look at the 26g V2. Neither recommendation overrides your rod rating, depth, current or the ground you fish.
The version number alone is not a weight comparison: the 16g V2 is lighter than the 18g V1. If weed is the main problem, review the V2 weedless option. If you want different colours in one box, compare the Predator Pack.
